Agadir, Wish You Were Here!
Agadir holidays are very popular with European tourists and the Moroccan city has great weather, beaches and food. Located very close to the Sahara Desert so you can expect temperatures to be high, being a coastal city you can also expect great beaches and with three zones of restaurants you will find a lot of what you like on Agadir holidays.
Visiting Agadir during the summer months is advised because you will experience the best weather. Temperatures will average around 25°C from June to October which is better than many European destinations, and when warm winds blow through from the Sahara temperatures have been known to go as high as 30°C. The best way to take advantage of the great weather is by heading to Agadir beach, there you can get a sun lounger and get a great tan but don’t forget you sun lotion. You will find golden sands and clear waters on your Agadir holidays and plenty of water sports to enjoy your stay if you prefer your days in the sun to be a little livelier.
The food on Agadir holidays is very good and you will have the choice of three areas of restaurants to choose from. The cheapest area for food is New Talbourijt where menus have dishes for 35Dh which converts to around £3.00. The beach area has plenty of fine places to eat also and you will find many restaurants with international themes to suit all tourists, many places have great views of the ocean and the area is known as the most expensive to dine. Finally the Uniprix is the mid price region of restaurants where there are places more suited to tourists and others for the locals.
